INTRODUCING: New resident site button and dashboard
In order to better organize the growing functionality of the BuildingLink site, we’ve added a brand new “Resident Site” button to your BuildingLink page which allows Managers to view and manage all aspects of BuildingLink which deal with the Resident Site from one convenient location. Under the new “Resident Site” button, you will see that we migrated a few existing pieces of functionality away from where you’re accustomed to finding them, to this new section. We also enhanced older features like Services, Offers, and the Directory of Local Vendors to make them easier to find and work with. Here is what you will see on your staff and management pages, in the next day or two: 1. New Button: “Resident Site” We have added a new button, in the left column section, called “Resident Site”. In this section, we have pulled in “stuff” that used to be under other buttons, but that better belong to the new “Resident Site” button. These are: (a) Viewing/Approving Resident Postings (used to be under the “Communicate” button) (b) Managing Offers, Services and Directory of Local Businessess (used to be under the “Manage” button (c) A link to View the Resident Site as residents would see it (used to be under the “Other” button) (d) Viewing and Editing “Pet Park” entries (a new admin program for you) 2. New Design Offers and Services (from outside vendors) and Local Businesses Directory - These are now found on the Resident Site dashboard, and an easy to use multi-tab strip allows you to more easily view and manage the status of vendor offers. Here is a screenshot of what you will see when you click the new “Resident Site” button and dashboard (click on image to enlarge): firstname.lastname@example.org – we’d love to hear what you think!
